Icy Conditions cause two Motor Vehicle Accidents

On Tuesday morning, February 10th, at 09:46 hours Station 47 was alerted for an Electrical Hazard due to a PD MVC on Gun and Rod Club Rd. Command 47 with Asst. Chief CI Legates went on scene to find a single vehicle into a utility pole with electrical wires down across the roadway. While units were on scene, Kent Center advised of a second alarm in the district for an MVC on Andrewville Rd. Station 50 was alerted for an Ambulance and Engine 47-4 (Asst Chief Vincent, crew of 6) made the response. 47-4 went on scene to find a two vehicle accident with one occupant needing transport. Gun and Rod Club Rd Command released 47-5(Chief Williams, crew of 5) to respond to the second alarm. Command remained on scene waiting for the Electric Company and Del-Dot.
