Rescue 47 Donated to Cross Timbers Rural Fire Department

Two members of the Cross Timbers Rural FD located in Missouri, traveled to Farmington today to pick up the retired Rescue 47. After a small tour of the state provided by State Chiefs Assoc. President Phil Pennington, they arrived at Station 47 and found the truck and a multitude of gear, boots, helmets and other fire and rescue equipment, that had been donated by several Delaware fire companies. The members of Farmington Fire Company were excited to meet our brother firefighters, and were humbled to hear their story of establishing and maintaining a Fire Department in a small town with very little financial support. We wish them well in their endeavors and the best of luck with their new truck.
