Fire at the Farmington Transfer Station

Station 47 along with Ladder Co. 78(Greenwood), Tanker Co. 50(Harrington) Ambulance 78 and KM8 were alerted for a Commercial Structure fire at the Farmington Transfer Station. Command 47 went on scene and found a pile of trash on fire inside the building. Crews from Rescue 47, Tanker 50-2, and Quint 78 extinguished the fire. Workers from the facility used heavy equipment to assist with overhaul. Units Responding; Command 47, Rescue 47, Tankers 47-3, 50-2, and 78, Engines 50-5 and 78-4, Quint 78, BLS units 78 and 50, KM8.
