Main St House Fire

On Sunday morning June 28th Station 47, along with Station 50(Tanker Co.), Station 78(Ladder Co.) and KM8 were alerted for a house fire on Main St. Command 47(Deputy Chief Smith) went on scene with fire showing from a 2 story residential structure. First arriving crews began an interior attack, but due to conditions they eventually had to back out and switch to a defensive mode. Engines 52-5 and 48-4 were later added to the assignment for additional manpower. Engine 72-1 was the Stand-by Engine at Station 47. Units responding; Command 47, Rescue 47, Tanker 47-3, Engine 47-4, Utility 47-10, Tanker 50-2, Engine 50-5, Utility 50, Quint 78, Engine 78-4, Tanker 78, Engine 52-5, Engine 48-4, Engine 72-1 (Stand-by) BLS units A and B-50, A-78, KM8, Fire Marshall FM28, Delmarva Power, DSP.
