Debris Pile and Woods fire

At 12:06 hours on Monday August 3rd Station 47 was alerted for a debris pile on fire on Woodyard Rd. Command 47(Chief Williams) went on scene at 12:12 hours to find several debris piles and a section of woods on fire with exposures to a camper and a pickup truck. Eng 47-5(Deputy Chief Smith, crew of 5) pulled an 1 3/4" hand line and a booster line and began to attack the fire while providing protection to the exposures. Tanker 47-3(Safety Officer Dean, crew of 5) established a water supply and the manpower assisted with operations. 47-2 supplied one load of water to the Tanker. Command placed the scene Under Control at 12:26 hours and all crews were back in the Station by 13:20.
