Single Vehicle MVC on S. Dupont Hwy

On Thursday morning Station 47 along with Ambulance 78, KM8, and Trooper 2, were alerted for an MVC involving an overturned box truck on S. Dupont Hwy. Command 47 arrived and confirmed the report. The crews from Rescue 47 and Engine 47-4 worked to secure the truck which included a diesel fuel leak. Ambulance A78 transported the operator of the truck to a local hospital BLS only. Command requested the Haz-Mat trailer from Station 57 (South Bowers) and a representative from DNREC. Scene was turned over to DSP and DNREC.
