Gas Leak Inside The Structure

Station 47 was alerted at 12:44 hours to a reported gas leak inside the structure on Greenwood Rd. The crew from Engine 47-2 led by Captain Lewis arrived to find an active gas leak, and began natural ventilation while securing the utilities. Crews from Tanker 47-3 pulled hand lines and set up for mechanical ventilation. Crews remained on scene for about two hours ventilating the structure and waiting for a representative from the gas company. Chief Williams had the Command.
