Fatal MVC on Williamsville Rd

On Friday night at 23:07 hours Deputy Chief Smith pulled up on an MVC with rollover on Williamsville Rd and requested Station 47 be dispatched. BLS 50, KM8 and Trooper 2 were also added to the assignment. Deputy Chief Smith established Command and advised their was one patient trapped under the vehicle and was a possible priority 4 patient. Engine 47-4(Chief Williams crew of 5) went on scene 6 minutes after dispatch and went to work using their Rescue Jacks to free the victim. Engine 47-5(Asst. Chief Vincent crew of 4) went on scene and the crew assisted with operations. Crews were able to gain enough access for KM8 to obtain a DOPA. Station 47 units remained on scene while DSP investigated the accident and then finished extricating the victim. Units responding. Engines 47-4, 47-5 and 47-2, 47-8, BLS 50, KM8, DSP, DEL-DOT.
