Commercial Fire Alarm turns into Haz-Mat Incident at Willard Agri-Service

On Wednesday evening Station 47 was alerted for a commercial fire alarm at Willard Agri-Service. As crews were investigating the alarm, they discovered a haze and chemical odor that originated in the chemical mixing room. Further investigation revealed a leak from one of the pipes bringing chemicals into the room. With assistance from on scene representatives of Willard, the leak was secured and crews began natural and mechanical ventilation.
