Structure Fire on Gun and Rod Club Rd

On Tuesday afternoon Station 47 along with Engine Company 50 (Harrington) were alerted for a Structure fire on Gun and Rod Club Rd. As units were responding Kent Center advised a pickup truck was on fire inside a manure shed and they were upgrading to a working alarm which added Tanker Company 52(Houston) and ALS. Command 47 went on scene with conditions as reported and found the fire had extended into the structure. Engine 50-4 was the first due Engine and laid in a 5" supply line and stretched an 1 3/4" handline and extinguished the fire with minimal damage to the structure. Crews from Rescue 47 and Tanker 50-2 assisted with operations. Command placed the scene under control and returned Station 52 units. Units responding; Command 47, Rescue 47, Engines 50-4, 52-5, Tankers 47-3, 50-2, 52-7, A50, B50, KM8, FM13, FM28.
